A parametric consumer product designed around a low-friction crown geometry that reduces contact area with the ball at impact.

Design highlights

  • Fully-constrained parametric model: height and cup diameter are driving parameters, so the whole family of sizes regenerates from two inputs.
  • Crown ribs sized against the minimum wall thickness of the target resin.
  • Draft angles and tolerances resolved for a single-cavity injection mold, with the gate located to keep witness marks off the visible crown.

Outcome

The design went from concept sketch to a moldable, production-ready model with a complete drawing package.
